The Society for Neuroscience (SFN) 2024, one of the largest neuroscience conferences in the world, took place in Chicago, USA, from October 5–9, 2024. As a research group, we proudly participated in the event with four poster presentations.Poster presentation by Emin Yusuf AYDIN at titled A fish-in-the-loop comparison of various active sensing models. Poster presentation by Osman Kaan KARAGOZ at titled Predictive uncertainty in state-estimation drives active sensing behavior. Poster presentation by Ismail UYANIK at titled Closed-loop control of locomotion: simultaneous encoding of sensory and premotor signals in midbrain neurons.Poster presentation by Pervin Rukiye DINCER at titled Exploring mechano sensitive gene expression using a membrane based cell stretching device.   The conference provided an excellent platform for receiving valuable feedback and establishing new collaborations, which we are excited to build upon in the future. Our participation in this conference was made possible with the support of TUBITAK's International Conference Participation Grant.
