NeuRoLab at SFN 2023

The Society for Neuroscience (SFN) 2023, one of the largest neuroscience conferences in the world, took place in Washington D.C., USA, from November 11–15, 2023. As a research group, we proudly participated in the event with five poster presentations.Poster presentation by Emin Yusuf AYDIN at titled Modeling the Effects of Flow Speed on Smooth-Pursuit Tracking in Active Sensing Movements of Weakly Electric Fish . Poster presentation by ALP DEMIREL at titled Dynamic weighting of sensory weights in response to varying visual and electrosensory salience in weakly electric fish. Poster presentation by Orhun KOC at titled Integration of visual and mechanosensory information in zebrafish during rheotaxis.Poster presentation by Osman Kaan KARAGOZ at titled Active sensing as a part of multisensory behavioral control in weakly electric fish. Poster presentation by Aysegull KILIC at titled Predictive state-estimation uncertainty drives task-dependent active sensing. The conference offered a remarkable opportunity to gain insightful feedback and foster new collaborations, which we look forward to advancing further in the future. Our participation in this conference was made possible with the support of TUBITAK's International Conference Participation Grant.
